The Dunmore Lasses
Established in 2009, The Dunmore Lasses is an Ogden-based group specializing in high-energy versions of traditional Irish & Scottish tunes The fusion of vocal harmonies, guitars, fiddles, flute and whistles, intricate mandolin & banjo, wailing pipes and driving drums craft the sound of The Dunmore Lasses Sets include original material blended with custom arrangements of well-known Irish and Scottish folk tunes tempered with a dash of world music The Dunmore Lasses have been raising the rafters in and around Northern Utah at such events as the Peerys Annual Celtic Celebration, the Utah Arts Festival, the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire, the Ceili at the Roundhouse Celtic Music Festival in Evanston, WY, the Bountiful International Music Festival, the Annual Ogden Irish Music Festival, and the Davis Arts Council Sunday Concert Series As well, The Dunmore Lasses have been featured in traditional Irish podcasts and have provided original music for local film projects

Wasatch and District Pipe Band
Established in 2004, WDPB is a competitive and performing Bagpipe Band based out of Bountiful, Utah Wearing the MacTavish tartan, our band performs all over Northern Utah, and competes in the Western US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and we have attended the World Pipe Band Championships held in Glasgow Scotland We also frequently perform with many local music groups such as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir This past year we also completed our first CD for our tenth anniversary https://wwwyoutubecom/watch?v=YU7cJgk4x88

Celtic Beat Irish Dancers are a group of trained dancers from Layton, Utah under the direction of LaRae R Thackeray Celtic Beat was formed in 1998 to promote Irish culture and to provide performing opportunities to young dancers The group ranges in age from 8 through 18 years of age Celtic Beat performs in the tradition of "Riverdance" to jig and reel music in softshoe and hardshoe The dancers have received training from Marty Dowd and Joann Evans of "Riverdance", Jack McCardle of the McCardle Irish School in Connecticut, and Molly Bennet from Denver They have attended workshops with the Trinity Irish Dance Company http://youtube/nLtFhBnINfA or http://youtube/PTh9x9tqDOE
